NSCLC with liver mets

morning

First 3 month scan shows Lung tumour shrinking but liver met has increased in size on current treatment.

Has anyone else had this where subsequent scans shows shrinkage of liver met too?

Hi anne1, as you are aware imaging is done throughout treatment to measure the response of disease to treatment ,some areas of disease may respond at different rates or may not respond to a particular treatment . Your CT indicates a partial response to treatment . Your oncologist may consider altering your current treatment , adding additional drugs or continuing with your current treatment and reassessing after next CT scan . It is important to discuss this with your oncologist as he has all the information on you and your disease to allow him to make informed decisions on the best way forward.
