Hiya,

I've just recently been diagnosed with lung cancer, and the past couple of days my knees have been swelling and very painful and my left side arm. Has anyone any recommendations how to bring swelling down. Thank you

Hello Raggety,

I am sorry to hear about your recent lung cancer diagnosis this will be a very worrying time. As Kazzacrazy has already mentioned it is best with these types of symptoms to seek advice from your oncology team, they will have access to all your medical records and will be able to advise on the cause and suggest the correct treatment for this.

If there is anything else you would like to discuss you can email ask the nurse at lungcancerhelp@roycastle.org or call our free phone nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200 Monday to Thursday 0900-1700 and Friday 0900-1600.

Kind Regards
