Trials aren't always open everywhere at the same time - often a limited few centres to provide the evidence that something works or doesn't better than 'usual care'... however some like lung matrix trial were open in many centres. always ask your clinical team at the Trust if there are any relevant clinical trials that may be open to you now or later on... so they can recognise that this is something you might be interested in... the maps/charts of which trials are open and for which specific types tend to be very medical/scientific in their descriptions and take some deciphering... but aren't all accurate as many have impacted by the pandemic and its impact on research and staff....
