Hello gatonegro, I started Erlotinib end of May and am coping. Typical side effects but not too bad and there has been some shrinkage. Pleural effusion has had to be drained twice but I’m not a candidate for permanent drain . I find if I keep moving I am so much better but I absolutely need my afternoon nap. Stay well.

Hello Jigsaw02 I was diagnosed with stage 4 adeno Ca 4 months ago, also had pleural effusion. I had ct and revealed that effusion is göne % 95 around. Erlotinib works well, I just have rash and tolerable diarrea.

Hi I don’t have EGFR but have ALK another mutation. Do you know that there are Facebook groups providing support to people with EGFR? I am a member of the ALK UK and Worldwide groups. It might be worth joining one of the EGFR groups and posting there. Wishing you a good response to your treatment xx
