Hi everyone - I completed my last cycle of chemo on 11 November 2019 and although I had some hair loss it was not that significant as I am fortunate to have thick hair. However over the last week or so my hair has started to fall out again. I wonder if anyone else has ever experienced this. Many thanks.

Hi. Yes I had a similar experience and like you I had thinning of my hair but didn't lose it completely during Chemo which ended in August 2018. It then started to thin even more a few months later after I had surgery. I kept asking if there was a reason for this and no one gave me any answers but one of the nurses suggested I take a multivitamin with Iron which I did and still take. My hair eventually returned to its normal thickness but it did take a few months. Best wishes.
Thank you for replying to my post. It’s reassuring to know that am not alone. I’ve been quite worried and convinced myself am doing something wrong! I will get myself some multivitamins and hope that does the trick. All the very best.
Dear Goldmedalglory
Sorry to hear that your hair has started to fall out , this link from Cancer Research UK provides some detail information on this and it can take up to 12 months for some people to have the return of their full hair, which can change in texture and sometimes shade:

Thank you for replying to my post. It struck me as odd that my hair started to fall out again almost five months after finishing chemo. I feel assured am not the only one this has happened to and will try the multivitamins route suggested by Swimdown. Best wishes.
Dear Goldmedalglory
It may be worth checking this out with your specialist, GP or lung cancer nurse. Let us know how you get on.
Kind regards
