Firstly I'd like to thank all who have replied to my posts, secondly big massive thanks to the Roy Castle Nurse who I spoke to today and very kindly called the Jubilee Clydebank Hospital and just gone and kicked ass and got things moving (pease trace here and thank her for me) I've to go in this FRIDAY for a pre op then admitted TUESDAY then surgery WEDENESDAY.

Scared but just want to move on and live.

Many thanks, I have my pre op meeting today at the Jubilee Clydebank Hospital then i'm in on Tuesday, fit for surgery on Wednesday, third of my top right lung will be removed and hopefully on the road to recovery with no future issues.

Yay! Great news. Sounds like you (like me) are one of the lucky ones who will soon be able to put this all behind you after a lucky escape. Fingers x for you.
