Thanks for this encouraging article. I've met many patients on such treatments and those who've benefitted as well as the researchers working on new agents in trials for new 'targets' - lung cancer seems to be particularly receptive to some of these new agents and the new knowledge made easier since genomic sequencing and testing for mutational burden. Too often we hear the downside of the reality of lung cancer but there are so many of us living beyond treatment that with continued research, increased knowledge and newer/changes in treatment can only give us hope for the future.

I agree things are changing for people with lung cancer. I hope more funding is put into research and more positive changes continue in this field.
