Follow up after initial course of chemotherapy.

Could anybody tell me what is the approximate time scale for follow up after initial duscharge after cgemotherapy for Stage 4 lung cancer, have date for scan ( and seeing oncologist 3 weeks after last scan but finding it difficukt to get an answer as to how many months after this is the next appointmnt.

hi Nan, sorry to hear about your lung cancer. hasn't anyone come to talk to you from McMillan or from your GP? Please go and see your GP or call them if you're not feeling up to it and ask them for clear answers in regard to your treatment.

I find it quite strange. Did you have standard EMA recommended chemo? I.e., CDDP+Pemetrexed? Or what else? The standard attach chemo is 4 cycles Cisplatin+ Pemetrxed (also called CDDP+Alimta), CT scan after 6-8 weeks, thin layer CT scan (with angio CT to pulmonary vessels) after 3 months from chemo start. etc. I need more info from you.
