Student Nurse doing research....

Hello,

This is my first post so If i am not following any normal procedures then I apologise.

My father was affected by cancer and I am currently studying to become a nurse, hopefully, with the view to go into oncology.

I have a research assignment and I am interested to try and find out more information in relation to Merseyside and its high Cancer rates. I plan to conduct research via questionnaire which would not require personal information of any kind and was wondering if people would be willing to take the time to respond to this?

I am wondering if there is a correlation between merseyside's evident class divide/inequalities and cancer.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Hi Tom,

If you are looking for statistics you are best to contact your local health board. They will hold the data for cancer incidence per area.

Have you thought about how you would distribute the questionnaire?

Best wishes,

Beth, on behalf of information and support.
