Apologies if I have asked this question before. Can anyone tell me under what label 'sarcomatoid pleomorphic lung carcinoma' comes under. I know its a nsclc but what branch of that?
(I have asked my doctor who is a lovely person but he tells me its nsclc) Would be very grateful if somebody can shed some light on this xx

Hi Looploo, this is definitely one to speak to your doctor or nurse about but if it helps, this is what our medical director described it as - Sarcomatoid carcinomas of the lung are classified as a rare histological type of non small cell lung cancer.
Thanks EmmaG, I have asked but get the answer its a nsclc. I have remained cancer free for just over a year now after having surgery but can't seem to get this question answered. I just want to understand a little more about it. I did ask my consultant and he said he could ask for the reports from the hospital I had my surgery at. Think I automatically assumed that all involved in the treatment would have a copy of the report. Don't get me wrong everybody involved was fantastic and I am very grateful to each & everyone of them, I just want to understand things a little more. x
