Any suggestions for dealing with the poor air quality we’re experiencing from Canada’s fire?

My heart goes out to the people who live there. If it’s this bad hundred of miles away I can only begin to imagine how horrific it is for people with lung issues there.

This is day two of a sore throat and my eyes burn like crazy. I know that people living on the west coast of the US have more experience than I dealing issues from smoke. What do you do? I don’t go out if I don’t have to and never without an N95 mask and use TheraTears regularly.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

So my sister shared my nephew’s trick. Tape a HEPA furnace filter rated for PM2.5 to the back of a box fan. Genius.
