I have had SCLC since February 2019. Went into remission in May 2019. A year later it reoccurred and I got chemo every month from July 2020 until August 2022 when my blood work wouldn’t improve. I’ve been anemic , receiving blood every few weeks. My neutrophils are very low and now blast cells are appearing. Oncologist put me on Keytruda and I’ve had 3 doses now. I’m so worried that I now have myleodysplasia or acute leukemia and am afraid to have bone marrow biopsy. My oncologist said if I do have this, there isn’t much to be done. Has this happened to others? He said my numbers are confusing as my platelets are now normal and with leukemia they’d be low too. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Get a second (maybe a third) opinion before making a decision. Where are you being seen? Consider getting your second opinion from an NCCN Center of Excellence. nccn.org/home/member-instit...
I am sorry that you are going through all this. I have no words of wisdom to offer except that I agree with Denzie, a second or third opinion is a good idea.
