Margaret, I think your coping of “try to forget about next” is a great way of saying you are going to live in the moment. My mom has a couple favorite sayings. One is “NO ONE is promised tomorrow.” Lung cancer patients have a big reason to notice that even though it is true for everyone. I hope you can have some great chats, tell stories, look at photos, with your son and friends, or be less “wooly headed” to do whatever can help you enjoy this day and weekend and coming weeks and months. I’m the praying sort of person, so I’m going to put your name in my morning prayers right now.

Focus on life. Death will visit all of us. Refuse to live in cancer. It’s a small piece of who we am. My prayer is that all of us live fully until we die. Living in cancer prevents us from living in every way. You have a purpose which obviously is not yet done. 💕🙏🫶

Thank you for the update. It’s not what any of us wanted for you. Please check in from time to time and let us know how you are doing.

Prayers that the reduced steroids helps relieve some of the brain fog.
