Hi there- My name is Susan Smedley and I am a grateful 24 year lung cancer survivor (and half marathon finisher). I also work for GO2 Foundation.
We have five entries for the 2022 NYC Half Marathon on March 20, 2022. Do you know someone who would be interested in raising awareness and helping raise critical funding? Please email me for more information at ssmedley@go2foundation.org

Goals for 2023!! I am 56 and was diagnosed with NSCLC in August, 2021. Prior to that, I was an avid runner and hope to be again! Am working back up to it after 2 surgeries and radiation. On Targrisso now and regaining strength and stamina every day--just not back running yet. Kudos to you!! If you have a fundraising page for this year, please share. While I can't run with you, I would love to support you!
Good for you!!! I know so many runners/endurance athletes who are back doing what they love post lung cancer diagnosis- so glad to hear you are back on the road to running again. We have had athletes run the NYC half and full marathons, as well as half Ironmans, all post diagnosis. I was not an avid runner (ever), but wanted to challenge myself and raise $$. I ran the Colfax half marathon in Denver last October (I am 56 too), so my fundraising page is no longer active. Thank you for the kind offer though!! Please send me an email so I can keep you in the endurance team loop ssmedley@go2foundation.org
