I had Lung resection a months ago still had pain under my right breast and rib cage how long before you start feeling better

it takes a while and we're all different. do keep moving and active as that can help nerves/muscles recover and also redevelop the remaining lung - sitting or lying around really does not help - your body needs to redevelop its functioning/memory in a range of different positions and modes. I find stretching during swiming helps me - and I restarted 3 months after surgery and went onto swim much further by a long way (and I was already regularly swimming 130 lengths before) after open surgery for left upper lobectomy in Dec 2010. you may find this info helpful. good luck with your recovery. roycastle.org/app/uploads/2...
