Founder of Go2 Foundation wins lifetime achievement award from Cure Magazine

Many of the long time survivors here have seen this site undergo a sponsorship page from Free to Breathe to the Go2 Foundation. The Go2 Foundation came about by the merging of the Bonnie Addario Lung Cancer Foundation and the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.

Bonnie was diagnosed with lung cancer in the early 2000s. She has dedicated her life to LC research, patient education, and has taken her cause to the doors of senators and congressmen educating them on the need for more funding of LC research.

Today Cure Magazine announced that she is the winner of their first Lung Cancer Hero Lifetime leadership award. You can register to hear her and learn more about the other winners. And as an aside, my friend Debbie Pickworth who is a member of this board has also won an award as a patient advocate. I’m proud to call her my friend.
