Cancer treatment and survivorship doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Someone made a difference in your days as you went through treatment. If you live alone it may have been a neighbor who dropped off some soup, an RN who looked you in the eyes when asking how you were feeling.
Who made a difference for you? A family member? Friend? Medical professional? Hospital volunteer?
For me it’s my cousin Debbie who took me into her home when it was apparent that I would not be able to live alone. She and my friends packed up my apartment and moved me into her home. She created an apartment in her home with my furniture and belongings. She made sure I had a never ending stock of ice cream and fudge sauce. She attended every appointment and treatment.

Hi Denzie! 💗 This is a different perspective but as the caregiver to my dad, it was so many on here who not only made a tremendous difference in my dad’s fight with cancer but made a huge difference in my life as a caregiver. I couldn’t imagine doing it without you all. For some, myself included, this forum is the most support/help we get (I got) as a caregiver and you all should be thanked and told that you make a difference. So much love.
