I have had chemo and radiation of the lung for small cell carcinoma and wanted to know if there is anyone that has or had the form of cancer to bounce some questions off of.

Welcome to the Go2 Foundation’s lung cancer board. Mine was non small cell but I know a couple people who have done well with small cell. Was yours limited or extensive?

Can you share how long ago you were diagnosed and what the chemo was?

Sending hope you thrive for a long, long time.

Hi Laura, there is some useful information about small cell lung cancer on the UK's Roy Castle lung cancer foundation website. I had non small cell (the more common) lung cancer for which I know there are more targeted agents available. hopefully somebody with small cell will respond to you. good luck.

I was diagnosed and treated for sm cell lung cancer 10 years ago. Doing great. There weren’t many options for treatment as there is now. I had 4 rounds of chemotherapy and chest radiation 2 times a day for 3 weeks. I also got PCI .

My mother, brother and dog have all had SMLC. My mother survived 6 years with it.
