Surgery went well

Hey everyone my dad had his surgery yesterday morning. He was a bit nervous but he was fine. The doctor determined that it was cancerous and it was the size of a marble. They checked all surrounding tissue and sending it off for diagnosis to see if it spread - the doctor feels that this is it. He says it would really surprise him if it did spread. My dad won’t be able to drive for at least a month. He will not be 100% for about 2 months. I am claiming a speedy recovery and that things work together for my father’s good!

What a wonderful report! I’m so glad for him and the whole family. Were they able to do it by VATS or was it an open ?

When he goes home he should sleep in a recliner for a few days with pillows tucked around his ribs for support. Please update us!
