There is always hope! I know of people doing well with small cell chemo treatment. You can also ask his oncologist about clinical trials being done. Hang in there. Wishing you and your dad the best of luck. ~Peg
I agree with PegD. There is always hope. There are new treatments being discovered all the time. Hoping for success and a long life.

Hi and welcome. I am sorry to hear about your father's diagnosis, but I agree with Peg and Jean - stay hopeful and continue to advocate for him. I will also private message you.
At last months conference in Atlanta, we met a woman about to enter her 3d year with extensive small cell lung cancer. She was gorgeous and vivacious. Her outcome shows that it’s possible.
Stay positive. I’m going through the same thing with my Dad❤️
There is always options and hope. My dad had the same cancer which had spread. Small cell is very responsive to chemo. There are chances to get into remission. It may be good to talk to the Docotor about clinical trials and possible radiation therapy if the tumors shrink small enough. Everyone is so different.
Do not give up hope and always seek answers from the doctor and do not be afraid to ask questions. Keep staying strong for your dad with a positive mindset and lots of prayers. You’re not alone.♥️♥️
