Small Cell Lung Cancer

Hello my Friends.

I recently had a call from someone who has just finished radiation and chemotherapy for SCLC. She is waiting to hear the results of her latest CAT scan. Meanwhile, they are suggesting that she consider having radiation to her brain to prevent any spread. She has serious doubts about doing that.

She did agree to get a second opinion.

She would very much like to just talk this through with a peer too, someone who has SCLC. She does not, however, use the internet so communication would have to be through phone calls.

Wishing her all the best! From someone who witnessed first hand the treatments ( chemo and radiation) for small cell lung cancer, I know how overwhelming these decisions can be. please let her know she has prayers coming her way. If she ever, ever needs anyone just to talk to, I'm here!
