Our dear Serrecko is gone

This will not surprise anyone, but our dear friend Michael March died just four days after he wrote to us to say farewell, on Easter Sunday. Here is a link to his obituary: ompsfuneralhome.com/obituar...

Thanks for posting this. I am sorry I didn't link the blog here right away -- in my head, I thought I must have, but it was probably through a thread on Michael's Facebook page instead. He was a good guy, and he faced the end well.

This loss feels like a kick in the gut. Every loss is sad but some are more painful than others. Through his voice and his actions he made the world a better place. He left his family an amazing legacy.

He was such an amazing soul and used this community and his experiences to help others. I hope he is finally at peace now, and he will be remembered.

Thanks for this posting, Anita. Since I don't visit here much I wasn't aware of Serrecko, but I will go back and read his posts. The outpouring of affection for him is very moving.
