I was diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC with EGFR mutation, September 2016, and started a clinical trial in October.

Welcome JSnarey - great photo!
I'm also EGFR, doing well after almost 3 years of treatment and on my third line of treatment. I was also in a clinical trial.
I'm curious - which trial are you in?
I hope you are doing well. Keep in touch, we have lots to learn from each other, and this is a very supportive community.
Anita
Thank you...
It's a Phase II/III of Afatinib plus Cetuximab. I get the Cetuximab infused every 2 weeks, I have had 2 scans since starting and both show shrinkage, my next scan is May16th.
Thank you for agreeing to be part of such an important trial! This combination has been known to be a possible effective treatment after some preliminary results - this trial is the big one that will demonstrate whether or not this should be a standard treatment.
I understand that the side effects of this combination can be challenging, you are a trooper for science!
Fingers crossed for another good scan.
Welcome! I'm alive today because somebody participated in a clinical trial years ago. I can't thank them but I can thank you.
Please let me add my "Thank you" to the list, it is remarkable and wonderful that you are participating in this trial. We are very happy to have you join us - come on in and set a spell!
Thank you also for sending your wonderful picture - love it!
Love your photo and welcome. I am EGFR Stage 4 as well diagnosed August 2015. I took Afatinib also, now on 3rd line and participated in a trial, here for you if you need an ear.
