I was diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell Sarcomatoid Carcinoma lung cancer 18 months ago. I've had 6 months of chemo and am now in a holding pattern. My cancer is stable with no new tumors or growth. I get scanned every 3 months. This is a very rare type of cancer. As of today they have no cure and hard to treat. I live each day as best I can and thank God for each day. Always hopeful for a new cure or treatment.

You or fortunate to have a strong body that can take chemo. My husband had one chemo treatment that tore his blood down to dangerous level and not coming back after four uinets of blood. Radiation is going to be scheduled next.
Sorry to hear your husband is having so much trouble. Chemo is so tough on your body. It was really hard for me the longer my treatments went on. I was put on a maintenance drug that I just couldn't handle. I had four treatments and i just couldn't do it anymore. My cancer is stable right now so I take it a day at a time. I have a great support team at home to help me. Try to stay positive through the tough times. My prayers will be with you and your husband.
I had only 3 treatments and was so I'll that I had to be in hospital for 12 days with bleedi ulcers.
