I battle the big C every day I was a smoker so the coughing made me curious and when I got a check up they found that I had 3B lung cancer it was in my lymph nodes around my heart and a tumor the size of a golf ball on my lung we experimented with protons and also the chemo was in remission for over two years and then the lung cancer spread to my brain and I had a tumor in the back of my brain was able to remove it and not long after that another tumor appeared in the front of my brain Battling cancer three times I go to the university of Penn in Philadelphia for chemo once a month and scans every two months this I need to do for the rest of my life this is what is keeping me in remission Every morning I wake up is a blessing God bless God is good no matter what good or bad enjoy your day and just keep doing👍

I was diagnosed with 3B in September 2015.  I have had chemo and radiation and am waiting for my follow up appointment in May.  I'm told at that time, a cat scan will be done to see what the cancer looks like then.  I found your information encouraging as I had decided my time was limited. I'm glad you have been able to continue to fight this horrible disease. I too believe that God is an awesome God and He is able to do the impossible.

Hi Docjoe                                                       Amazing story! How do you stay so positive?  I'm guessing you are from USA?  I'm from  N.J.  I saw your post on the copd site, then found you on this one. I have copd and also had stage 1 lung cancer, 3 yrs. ago. Had 11mm. tumor removed by wedge surgery. I always think I have it back. Every little ache or pain.  I think about it everyday.  You are most amazing! How do you feel?  I'm most glad to meet you. May your positivity rub off on me!                    Rubyxx 😊 😊
