Hi there, I like the kinesiology tape too. I was a bit concerned at first as I am allergic to elastoplast.

I don't know which tape you have tried but I have been advised to use K-Active tape by Nitto Denko and have not had any problems with inflammation at all. Hope this might be helpful to you. "Hug"

I am allergic to the Kinesio tape and have been advised by my Lymph nurse to discontinue with it. I have breast Lymphoedema so to some extent my bra acts as my compression garment. With the help of my nurse, I have learn't how to massage myself which compliments the weekly treatment I receive. Also the places I can't reach my husband has been shown how to use a small, soft paint roller brush which helps with the build up i get under my arm and my back. The tiredness and heaviness is the worse but I am lucky I get a lot of support..

what a great idea to use a paint roller - d'you mean the little ones they use for skirting boards & stuff? much easier than trying to reach round the back myself if oh isn't available, thanks for the tip

I was given an anti allergy kinesio tape but that irritated my skin so I use the normal one. But I was told to alternate this treatment with a foamy kind of thing which you have to put inside your bra. Do you use this as well?
