Arm pain

Hi all I am back, I still have the arm pain. My lymphedema nurse told me to see GP she thought it was frozen shoulder, Physio says not. I mentioned cellulitis was the start of my troubles, pain has worsened since June my arm movement is painfulat times and nights are affected. I have some exercises to do and will go back to physio in October. I am still blaming my infection last December as the pain is in the same place. will see how exercise helps in the meantime. Will keep you posted. I wish there was more information on this with LSN , even L. Nurse couldn't enlighten me. I always have 'the cancer thoughts creeping in'as I am impatient now for answers 😯

Sorry must have missed your last posts or cannot remember!! Have you had breast cancer and were the lymph nodes affected? I have and earlier this year my arm and shoulder were really painful. I had to have an emergency scan which showed it was due to the cancer returning and was put on chemo immediately. Sorry I am not trying to frighten you but if you have had cancer, I would get it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry. Hope you get sorted soon xx

Hi Chrissie 2 I am sorry to hear that you went through cancer again, it must be very stressful for you. I had cancer 10 years ago and had 13 lymph nodes removed. I had reconstructive surgery from tummy area 8 years ago. My aching arm started fairly recently I thought it was lymphedema , do you see a lymph nurse? Did your GP send you for a scan? Thank you for your message x

It was my lymphoedema nurse who set everything on the move when my arm was really bad with pain. She called in various nurse consultants, doctors and consultants which resulted in me having an urgent MRI scan which is when they found it has increased near my clavicle yet again. A few days later I started chemo. Hope you get sorted soon x
