In the crease in the skin where knicker elastic sits? On the lower abdomen? Upper inner thigh? Or, on the genitals?

Liz - I should also have added - get yourself checked by a GP - just to rule out infection - either bacterial or fungal.

Hi lynora its in The crease where the elastic bit on my knickers are.I got new under wear in a size 14 as I felt that some of my 12 ones were pinching just at that bit

It could be a reaction to the latex in the elastic, but you should get it checked to rule out infection, as I mentioned above.

Please go see your doctor to rule out cellulitis. My daughter just experienced a very severe bout which began in her groin area and placed her in the hospital for four days. She was placed on IV antibiotics and it was extremely painful. Cellulitis can be very dangerous if the infection gets into your bloodstream. Please let us know what you find out.

oh, this is bizarre, I have angry looking red marks and rash in groin and lower belly, am washing with santex, with teatree oil added, really helps to relieve the itching and pain, tt oil is a natural antiseptic and anti-fungal, at least it makes me feel clean, don't worry about the smell, it goes very quickly... brilliant stuff, I also douche with a weak solution, have also tried weak Dettol, but found this burns and stings the rash.
