What do you need to know? There is quite a bit of info on the Lymphoedema Support Network site - lymphoedema.org/

How old is she? Has she been referred to a lymphoedema clinic? Have they given any information about how to look after herself? Have they given any treatment?

How long has she had the condition? Is it Primary or Secondary? Is she wearing compression stockings? Does she manage any exercise? Does she look after her skin?

She has been to a Lymphoedema clinic years ago, but apparently it closed down, i.e. so we were told! She is now 36 years old.

As Lynora says contact the Lymphoedema Support Network. Lots of information on their website and they also have a telephone helpline.

What is the evidence for this and specifically in relation to lymphoedema? Has it improved your lymphoedema?

My Lymphoedema Nurse was trained in Hungary - I have found her knowledge more comprehensive; she is keen on good moisturiser for skin and I get Flexigtol (Australian product developed for their Cancer Association) and now available here on NHS prescription.
