I have lymphoedema in both legs and I am struggling with walking as I have very little flexibility in my knees. The skin is very hard behind my knees and the stockings make the flexibility worse. Does anybody have any suggestions for exercises I could do to help?

Have you tried yoga or Pilates? Low impact but great for stretching and mobilisation and it can be tailored to your abilities
Two suggestions.... ask your GP to prescribe doublebase gel or buy from Boots pharmacy counter and apply liberally to backs of knees. Agree with yoga/pilates but also try gentle swimming. Hope will help. If you find getting to a yoga/pilates class too hard try googling for yoga in a chair that you could practice at home safely.
Very simple leg exercises. Sit in a chair, start slowly by rotating ankles in a figure of eight first clockwise, then anti clockwise. Start with two on each leg and build up to 5. Try extending your leg, again alternate each leg. Then try doing a march whilst sitting, lift from knee hold if you can for a couple of seconds, put your leg down, change leg. Always start slowly and build up each day. Never strain or push yourself to hard. There are some very useful exercises on You Tube. Hope you feel easier soon.
have you thought about trying a compression therapy pump? it would help reduce swelling and improve skin condition. take a look at my website: compressiontherapyuk.com. If you don't live in the UK i will direct you to the distributor in your own country. NNE
