my toes are still a problem to say the least.
poor you, I had swollen toes initially until I got a diagnosis of lymphedema in both legs, I spent 8 months in compression bandages and having to sit with my legs elevated, life changing, but I can reassure you that now although my diagnosis is permanent I don't have the issue with the toes, it is painful, cant wear my shoes then so I fully understand how you feel. I hope your apt has the answers and suggestions to solve your issues.
My lymphedema is in my right leg from toes to thigh. However, the compression stockings I wear (30-40 mmhg) seem to keep it in check for the most part. My right leg is about 6 pounds heavier than my left. I also use a pneumatic compression machine at night for about a half hour. That works very well to push the fluid up and out of my leg. There aren't many treatments here in the USA, so I would be interested to hear the results of your consultation, if you don't mind. Thank you and good luck!! God bless!
