After the success of the Lymphaletics 2012, the CLSIG are holding the Lymphaletics 2014 on the 13th September 2014 in Ponds Forge,Sheffield. This is a free event for children and teenagers with lymphoedema and their families. There is an educational slot, with doctors from St Georges and garment companies will also attend. The Lymphaletics will be team based sporting activities and there will be swimming, face painting and a magician. It is a great opportunity to meet with other families. Closing date for applications is 25th July. To reserve your place please download the application form from our website or contact gilliancraig@nhs.net for any further information.

Please support this great day, it's great for families who have children with lymphoedema, they will love the day, and let's them know their not on their own. So please register it's a fab day!!!

Thank you for posting this information. I am amazed it is a free event! I have selected Lymphaletics 2014 as my cause on the easyfundraising site and I will try and encourage others to do the same.

I have been asked to be involved with this day as a sufferer and as a sportsman. I was diagnosed at 13 with primary lymphodema in both my legs. Since then I have played professional football and traveled to New Zealand to play cricket professionally too. I hope my achievements and experience can help younger people who suffer.
