I know that this treatment is popular in Australia but don't read much about it's use here. I would like to know if you find it effective; does it reduce the swelling and does the reduction last; is it available on N.H.S. or privately? That's a few of my questions another would be where you were treated and how many sessions do you have? I'd be glad of any information. Thanks, Nan2high

I have had both legs reduced by Liposuction and both arms reduced by surgery in the last two years if this helps your question.

Hi Nan2high,

Yes my surgery has been amazing i have had 27litres removed from my legs todate, so a massive massive big change for me. Have more scheduled in 12 weeks time to remove the final bulk thats left. Also my lower trunk is having surgery to reduce this, as it has also started to grow with Lipoedema. The arms have almost been cut to half the size but need a little lipo on them to get some better shape. Not all the skin was cut away, we left more thinking it would not heal first go but to our sorprise it did, so we now wished we had removed even more. But sod's law if we had gone the other way i would have been in trouble if it had nt gone this well.

So hoping we have a successful outcome and no damage is caused to the the lymph nodes or lymph system itself..

Keep you all updated as it takes place.
