HI Gruntfootuck - the reason I ask is that good skin condition is so important for optimising your lymphoedema management so if, for example, you might have developed an allergy to the garment or if you have skin changes from a build up of protein then it is important to ask your lymphoedema team about any rashes/lumps and bumps in the affected area. If they do not feel it is anything to do with your lymphoedema then perhaps you should talk to your GP about a referral to a dermatologist.

The answer i was given to mine as i even took photo's of it each time it happened was it was connected to a bowel condition. This was confirmed when i required bowel surgery in January, so my consultant was spot on with myself, not sure if its the same lumps we are all speaking about quys, pictures would be required to compare. It could also be ridges form compression or a reaction to the garments as suggested so many different answers. your consultant o=r care team is the way to go for an answer, check next time you are with them. take a picture if it's not always visable. Hi! I have a red/pink bump and it's been there forever. I'm having it monitored by a dermatologist who is very knowledgeable with LE. How big are yours? Mine is about 1/2 inch in diameter.

Not what you're looking for?
