DIAGNOSIS

Hello All,

After two years of a chronic, persistent cough, 5 rib fractures and a hernia, I now have a diagnosis! I had a lung biopi done and it showed I have Brochiolitis Obliterans along with organized pneumonia (Boop) My treatment plan is 20 mg daily of prednesone and Bactrim 3 times a week. This will be ongoing for 3 months and possibly on prednesone dose for a year.

I do have asthma but also this rare lung disease. The probable cause for me is toxin inhalation. I was exposed to mold. It was hard living with the unknown and I wanted an answer. I came home from the hospital with oxygen and using it with exertion movement. I am riding my stationary bike to increase my lung compacting.
