Hi everyone, I hope you are all feeling well today. I recently learned about this new form of breathing therapy called Halo Salt Therapy, and was wondering if any of you know about this or have tried it? If anyone wants to touch base and talk about it, I would love to. Thanks, here is some more info on the therapy if you're not familiar with it. youtube.com/watch?v=8N8CZK8...

My local BreathEasy group arranged a trip to a Salt Cave (just another name for a therapy room) a few years ago.

It was a really nice experience to lie there with the sounds of the ocean in the background, low lighting and comfy loungers to lie on. I think I nodded off and snored, it was so relaxing.

I did find that my chest seemed to benefit for a couple of days afterwards as it seemed to help loosen the phlegm, but it could have been coincidental. I'm not sure.

To really benefit, they advised that you go twice a week for so many weeks ( I can't remember now) and this wasn't possible due to the distance and the fact that I can no longer drive myself. I felt it was too great a committment to ask my husband to take me, and it was also quite expensive.

However, if you have one near to you and can afford a course of the therapy, it might be worth trying. I'm not sure if they are currently open due to COVID restrictions, but if not, it would be something to consider in the future.

xx Moy
