1st bad asthma attack in years on nebulizer 2 wks slowly getting better how long can this last ?Only short of breath upon exertion and not on neb. Want to get back to maint meds only. Very tired no energy. Anyone else ever get this?

Hi Hopefullybetter, how many times a day do you use your nebulizer? Have you been to your Dr? Are you on an antibiotic? If you haven't been to your Dr., you probably need to go. Two weeks and not improving much isn't good! You may need a lung xray to make sure its not bronchitis or pneumonia. So, I advise you to see your Dr. soon! Praying for you!

Using 1x morn 1x nite relief inhaler in between if needed in addition to my Dulera 2x day. Havent been to Asthma spec yet but spoke with PA as I live out of state from my Doc. Do not have cough no color to any Phelgm that comes up after meds . Just was out of state weather very bad and seemed to trigger my asthma very high humidity. Weather has always been big factor with me.
