I had been diagnosed with copd 5 yrs ago. Now the doctor says my lungs have been clear.i have asthma n emphazema for 20 yrs I still have COPD but not stage 4 as I had been told.i can go without O2 all day. A blessing .i would like to know if i have symptoms of just asthma n a not .copd.

Hi...I've seen your posts about being on different sites; I assume you mean specifically here on HealthUnlocked? You can be a member of as many as you like; I'm a member of 3 or 4. I'm not sure what the exact nature of the problem is, but I would contact HU technical support & ask them.
The general test to distinguish between COPD & asthma is reversibility (in simplistic terms anyway). Does your peak flow improve by more than about 10% when you take a bronchodilator (e.g. Ventolin)? If so, it's possible but obviously, a doctor is the best person to give you a clear answer to that question.
Could pet dander make asthma worse?
Finally seem to be improving.
