Singulair helping acid reflux

I have been taking singulair now for a week and I have noticed my asthma is much better and so is my acid reflux. Because I had such bad post nasal drip and bad acid reflux, I think it caused the asthma. If I still find myself doing well in another week, then I have to conclude that the singulair is stopping the post nasal drip, which stops the inflammation of the lungs and esophagus, which is stopping the acid reflux.

So glad to hear that this is working!

I have reflux as well and Pepcid seems to help me when I need something.

Stay well😊

I also take omozaprole when needed too. Sometimes tums, sometimes DCL chewable tablets, sometimes baking soda. I am afraid of the long term side affects like osteoporosis ( which I have) and dementia ( which my mother had) with omazoprole. But also need to,sleep too.

Singular helps my sinuses, too. Which helps improve asthma. Yay!

Ranitidine / Zantac helps my reflux the best.

So glad you’re finding relief with this medication!

It’s amazing to see the outcome between two patients. I was taking the generic form of Singulair and was experiencing acid reflux I had not come in contact with since I was pregnant!
