Singulair

Asking for some advice here. Started Singulair two weeks ago. Taking at night and noticed and immediate improvement in my breathing at rest.

Waking up very anxious which lasts till 10am and then subsides. It’s not a bad enough case to cease immediately but if it will pass with time I’ll stick with it.

Anyone a similar experience? Did the anxiousness lessen?

I’ve been taking it on and off forever but never noticed a side effect. Sorry I can’t help.

Thanks Tommi, I’ve stuck with it and the negative effects have largely abated.

Been taking Singulair a long time, don't remember anxiety symptoms. However, it causes weird dreams - stories sometimes. Tried going off it because of that but the increase in asthma symptoms made me go back on it. I just decided to live with the dream issue.

I started taking it 1.5 months ago. It was going fine until I accidentally missed a dose, and then had to fly to the US the next day. I think the combination of that + changing times of taking it + jet lag caused the side effects to act up. Developed extreme fatigue and tiredness, then the nightmares came, and then the anxiety. Have stopped taking this 2 days ago and the nightmares are gone and anxiety is calming down. Hoping to fully recover in the next couple of days.

My 11 yr old daughter is taking half the dose and our pediatrician warned about the anxiety and extreme mood issues. We have yet to see any of those. I take 10mg and the only side effect I see is a runny nose.

Unfortunately I can’t take singular! Tried it once and woke up with extreme leg pains! After I read all the side effects I decided it’s not for me! I wish I could take it vs using breo every day! I truly want off this inhaler but once you’re on them your lungs get use to the meds and it’s hard to get off of them. Best of luck to you!
