inhaler side effects

Does your inhaler cause problems with your teeth? or give you a sore throat? I was just treated for thrush 3 weeks ago. I rinse and brush my teeth after I use my inhaler.

I had some trouble with thrush a couple of years ago. It had been gone now that I rinse with Biotene dental rinse after taking my inhalers.

No. My tougue hurt like I burned it on hot tea or soup. All. The. Time. I know people who get sore mouth and throat.

I have a white spot on the side of my tongue now. Could this be from the inhaler as well?

I rinse drawing the water through my teeth I also gargle good luck

I am so sorry you are having problems with your inhaler. I agree with other replies, a really good gargle, reaching all corners of your mouth. If things don't improve have a word with your doctor, you might have to change your inhaler.

Thank you. I was changed to symbicort, but I found it didn't work as well for me as Breo. I've been changed back to Breo. I will be very careful about thoroughly rinsing and brushing.

When I first started using my inhalers my throat would burn. I always worry about getting the thrush. I always rinse and gargle really well after each use. I have also tried brushing my teeth too after using.

My inhaler causes my throat to hurt. But it really helps control my asthma.
