Frustrated

I have been diagnosed with Asthma but when I have an attack my Sats don't drop. I have been intubated many times and can't even count the number of times I've been in the hospital. What's frustrating is most of the time as soon as they see my sats fine they tell me your fine quit making yourself wheeze. Why in the world would I make myself wheeze, I hate being in the hospital so much. I also get irritated when they tell me I'm just having an anxiety attack!!

My sats don't drop, either. And to make things worse, I rarely wheeze. (I have the cough variant variety of asthma. Yet I flunked the PFT the very first time I took it and am reversed with albuterol. Thankfully, I've never had to be intubated, although I have come close.

My sats don't always drop either which frustrates and confuses my doctors. ER docs have basically told me I've made it up. It FRUSTRATES me so much.
