I stopped for a year and started again and had the same side effects I had the first time, up and down anxiety, tired and unable to sleep, weak and shaky. The first week I found was the worst and then it starts to settle down. You’ll be fine, easier said than done, but try not to over think it.

I want to take it too ! Citalopram don’t work on me well I didn’t try the higher dose I was only on 20mg for a year and it hasn’t done much. I was too afraid to go on a higher dose so today I will talk to my doctor about changing my medication

I am on week 3 of 40mg of fluoxetine and its so hard to tolerate. Week 1 was fine. Week 2 was no appetite. Now I am no appetite and nauseous. I went to see the doctor and she said to give it 2 months!!!!!

Been on it for 6 wks. Still struggling with nausea and sleeping till midday and then nighttime insomnia. So tonight tried night dose instead of morning. Still awake at 1.44am. Had genomic testing as had bad reactions to many meds and this supposed to be ok for me. But even this is pushing limits.
