Lower Body CP but also a Single Amputee

I am new to this page, but I am a married 56 yr old lady with lower body CP and a wheelchair user. However, in early May 2015, due to further health problems, I had to have my left leg amputated above the knee. I am still undergoing rehab, but my physio says I am the only person she has come accross who has had the two disabilities simultaneously. I am fighting to get extra physio and support from specialists from the NHS to be given the chance to try a prothesis. I may have to set up a fundraising page on facebook to go private to achieve this. Any comments especially from people in a similar position would be very welcome. Many thanks.
