We have all had times where people come up to us in the street and say stupid things.
Please share your experiences below.
I use an power chair and last week someone said that I shouldn't be on the pavement with it and do I have a licence for it. Me: (thinking) 'where else am I meant to go and the licence joke is so old!'
Aged about 12, I once walked past a preacher in the middle of the city centre who stopped mid flow when he saw me walk past, looked me up and down and then said: "Don't worry. Jesus still loves you" - should bloody well hope so giving you'd tell me CP was "sent to try me", pretty damn sure my Jesus wouldn't use you as his mouthpiece!
Probably a toss-up between "Where's Mummy?" while I was looking at a display case in a museum, and "Are you dying?" from someone who was 46 years older than me, and had been in the same class for six months. I said (truthfully) that Mummy was on holiday in Orkney. I was 28.
I've had a similar experience with a preacher asking me if she could pray for me and god will give me a purpose and hope!!!!
