Jump to repliesI may be wrong but I think the advertising is showing a pitta/flat bread sandwich instead of a bread sandwich. NHS version of a healthy swap, sigh.
Well, yes,that's their intention.
But what they have actually shown is a fat person eating a healthy low fat diet.
Which could have been me last year, and I am guessing at least 1/2 the population of the UK.
I was being ironic.
I should have picked up on the irony.
The NHS mainstream are hamstrung by the old dogma. There are pockets of resistance but they are not strong enough to elicit the necessary changes- yet. In the meantime the health of much of the nation won’t improve over the long term and many of those that try are left feeling a failure (as evidenced on some of these boards) through no real fault of their own.
