We have all just eaten chicken cream sauce with Parmesan mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes with fried in butter cabbage and broccoli. I cannot believe it . Just thought I would share lol . I am due to weigh Tuesday after following low carbs for one week . Fingers crossed .

People do find it hard to accept that you can eat amazing food and lose weight. There's a strong theme of self-flagellation in Western diet lore, and fat people seem to think that if it's not a horrible uphill struggle, it's not going to work.

I’ve found that cabbage of any description is a good addition to most meals. Shredded in soups, salads and stir fries, steamed or even roasted with main meals. It adds both taste and lots of good fibre and is far tastier and healthier than pastas or noodles. I tend to use the sweetheart and red cabbage varieties.
Thanks for the feedback. I will have to try this. I have started having cauliflower rice, which I make myself. It works really well, and is a nice foil to a rich meat/veg dish or a curry. I forget it's not real rice!
