Sounds like you might be poorly at the moment from some cause other than the diet rather than having this reaction to the diet. If you're freezing, have you checked your temperature?
No, they are known side effects from LC.
I'm not feeling cold, but yeah, for the tummy. After a high fat Indian meal I was halfway home when I got close to panicking that I wasn't going to get to my bathroom in time! It would have been catastrophic if I hadn't ๐ฒ
Food tastes fine, but I am somehow able to resist carby food, which is definitely weird for me. My appetite is lower, but nothing like "gone off food". I am inhaling cheese.
Edit: Ah, that vid is actually about IF, but I think you could expect similar from LCHF
Are you also fasting, or going longer without food? If there are no other symptoms (and if the other bits you describe do relate to the Indian meal) it could be down to that. Iโm always very cold when fasting (and tmi but pee like a racehorse ๐ as I once heard it described).
Apparently extra salt helps. I ate a lot of salty cheese ๐คช.
Now I just want to go to bed all the time but I am pretty sure thatโs just January & because I am not happy at work. Maybe I could get a mini fridge for next to my bed to keep my cheese in!
Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. Maybe I am a bit poorly temp was 35.9 and canโt seem to warm up! Took paracetamol and it helped a bit.
Had a few more carbs today 28g hopefully I will be better tomorrow.
35.9 is a low temp, I don't eat as much as I did prior to LCHHF, I just feel full quicker, if you're fasting you might also experience "Dumping" yes it is what it sounds like, Google it....
If this turns out to be long term you could have your thyroid checked. But short term, having a hot drink, like tea, usually helps. Make sure to have enough salt and don't overdo the water.
