Well what a week , I am afraid that the LCHF went out of window , after the storm hit we had no power or water , we had to eat what was on offer , I did try but am afraid it was mainly stuffed full of cards . Now I back home I dont know what to do , start again or just be thankful that I have food lol
I have only but 2lb on so not as bad as I thought but not sure I can go straight back to basics and cut all carb out or just count calories .my stomach gas been upset since I went away and only just started to feel settled am wondering if that's eating the carbs or was from lack of them to start with . Any ideas please

Meh. Don't fret over it. These things happen. I'd be more upset about having my holiday ruined by no power and water! Did you have fun apart from that?
Just get yourself back on track (more fat, less carbs) and you should find it's pretty painless. Personally I do feel horribly bloated if I have a carb-heavy meal, so maybe that's what happened to you. The 2lb is just water and will disappear as quickly as it appeared.
Why bother with calorie-counting? It doesn't work. Remember, LCHF is basically just healthy food. Spend a bit of time experimenting with new recipes and figuring out what you like and what you don't. Inevitably, this takes a bit of time and practice, but it's worth the effort. Don't feel pressured to get it right first time. Some people just get it straightaway, but for others a bit of trial-and-error is required. The LCHF police aren't going to come banging on your door at 3am if you accidentally get it wrong
2lbs weight gain isn’t bad at all. Once you get back into everyday life and out of holiday mode thing will settle with your tummy and you will back on track.
Sounds like no fun on holiday! 2lb is not worth bothering about! Jump back into the Low carb high fat, I am sure you will soon be feeling better again!
