I now have some test strips and have tried one to confirm there are 0 keytones in there. So if I start on the 25g carb induction on Thursday, roughly how long do people find it takes to reach a keytoninc level?
How long does it normally take to hit... - Low-Carb High-Fat...
How long does it normally take to hit Keytosis?

Two to five days.
Is there a reason you are concerned about when it will start? Just wondering if any of us might have links/personal experience which might help.

Also worth reminding everyone that test strips only measure excreted acetoacetate, which is a very rough-and-ready estimate of the ketones circulating in your blood. As time goes on, your body will get more efficient at burning them and will tend to excrete less of them: in other words, if you see yourself drop into the "slight" range after a few weeks (assuming you haven't suddenly added back a load of carbs), this doesn't mean your fat loss will stop. It means you're getting fat-adapted.
If you're eating less than 50g carbs/day, and you're feeling OK, then you will be sourcing a large fraction of your daily energy needs from ketones, whatever the test strips say.
Thank you. I only ask because I have heard people say it only takes a few days and others said about a month. I don't want o be checking for changes in a couple of days if it takes much longer to show up,
